This Privacy Policy explains how Thinka Platforms Ltd ("Thinka", "we", "us", "our") collects and uses your information across the digital platforms, internet services and software products we operate. We aim to collect only what we need to run our services and take payments safely.
1. Overview

2. What we collect
- Account information — such as your name, email address and phone number when you register for a product.
- Usage data — how you interact with our products (for example, in a game: sessions joined, challenges completed and items purchased).
- Location data — for location-based products such as our games, your location while you are actively playing (see section 5).
- Transaction data — a record of your purchases: amount, currency, item or plan bought, date, and a Paystack transaction reference and status.
- Device & technical data — basic information (device type, app version, log data) needed to keep the service working.
3. Payment data & Paystack
We use Paystack Payments Limited ("Paystack") to process all payments across our products. This matters for your security:
- We do not collect or store your card details. When you pay, your card, bank or USSD details are entered directly on Paystack's secure, PCI-DSS-certified checkout.
- What we receive back is limited to what we need to deliver your purchase and keep records — for example the transaction reference, amount, status (success/failed), payment method type, and the email associated with the payment. We may receive a masked card indicator (e.g. last 4 digits) but never the full card number.
- What Paystack processes: to complete your payment, Paystack processes the payment information you enter under Paystack's own terms and privacy policy, acting as an independent processor for card and banking data.
- Why: we process transaction data to deliver purchases, provide receipts and support, handle refunds, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
4. How we use your data
- To operate our products and deliver what you buy.
- To provide customer support and process refunds.
- To keep our platforms secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To improve our products and understand how they are used (in aggregate).
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements.
5. Location data
Some of our products are location-based (for example, our real-world game requires your location while you are actively playing, to place you on the map and verify you reached game locations). We use location data only during active use, and you can disable location permission at any time in your device settings, though this may prevent parts of a product from working.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Paystack — to process payments (see section 3).
- Service providers — hosting, analytics and communications tools that help us run our services, under confidentiality obligations.
- Partners — where a product involves a third party (for example, a business sponsoring a prize), only the limited information needed to fulfil it.
- Authorities — where required by law.
7. Retention
We keep personal and transaction data for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email info@thinkaplatforms.ltd.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we rely on Paystack's PCI-DSS-certified infrastructure for card processing. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly to any incident.
